Austin Foote has held the position for 5 years and gave notice at the last AGM that he wished to step down from the role. To honour Austin’s wishes we need to appoint a new treasurer by the next AGM (14th March 2019). If anyone would be interested in finding out more about what the role entails please contact Rev. David Stanfield (07771785544). It is the intention of Austin to continue to support the person appointed and for his wife Margaret to continue to work with the new treasurer.

STOREHOUSE – New premises at 6A Balloo Drive (behind Bangor Fuels cash and carry) – hopefully up and running by end of March. We thank you for your prayers and support. Please continue to pray for us as we plan our long term future. “Your Father knows what you need before you ask” He has certainly fulfilled that promise. What a wonderful God! What an answer to prayer!
RAO – On their visit to India Nigel and David met Rao and were deeply humbled and encouraged by his vision and mission working in remote areas to bring the gospel to rural Indians. This lifestyle is both simple and sacrificial.
As a Kirk Session we have determined that we want to support Rao financially and prayerfully to enable him to continue this work. We were convinced that many others would want to do so also. Therefore we are setting up a Fund to provide for Rao’s ongoing basic needs and are inviting you to contribute. Rao needs £150 per month in order to be sustained so our intention would be to encourage both one-off and regular contributions that would be used for this purpose (these can as always be Gift Aided) and should be paid to First Presbyterian Church Bangor (designation for Rao).
