Daily Prayer Diary JANUARY 2019

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Heb. 13:8

Mon 7 Pray for: Our Land at this crucial time.   Ask God to intervene and heal our land. This is what the Lord says, ”If My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land”. 2 Chron 7:14.  May we storm heaven for God to intervene and heal these lands.
Tues 8 Give thanks for: Our Ministerial team and each member of staff. Pray for: Health, strength and renewed energy; Wisdom, patience and God`s guidance in all decision making. Keep Praying for Mairisine and the pain in her wrist. Pray: Mairisine will soon be pain free.  Pray for: All who are sick, going through debilitating treatment, or facing life changing operations.
Wed 9 MAF: Chad:  Although suffering from conflict and poverty, Chad has welcomed more than 400,000 refugees from neighbouring countries. Ask God to reveal areas of your life where you have sought to shut Him out because you feel ‘at capacity’ or are overwhelmed. Welcome His Kingdom perspective for these areas today. He will provide.
Thurs 10 Open Doors: Pray for: MPs as they meet to hear the latest World Watch list. Pray: They would be impacted by the message and would influence the review being carried out by the Bishop of Truro and would bring about change for our persecuted church on the ground. “For the Lord is righteous, He loves justice; the upright will see His face” Ps 11:7
Fri 11 CSW: A Prayer. “We believe Your voice holds unimaginable power and can save lives. Thank You Father God, for giving CSW a voice and equipping them to use that voice in defence of persecuted Christians. Help them to speak out for justice wherever and whenever they can. We believe in the power of prayer to bring change. Thank You Lord for hearing each and every prayer lifted to you on behalf of CSW, and those whom they serve. Remind us to keep committing everything to You in prayer and to rely on Your strength rather than our own. Amen.
Sat 12 PCI: Home Mission: Limerick: Pray for: Sean Roy, Community Outreach Worker working alongside Rev Vicki Lynch. Pray for: The weekly Wednesday Bible Study, that those who attend will continue to grow in faith as they study God’s Word together. Smithborough Presbyterian Church. Give thanks for: The recent installation of Rev Alan McQuade in the congregations of Smithborough and First Monaghan. Pray for: Alan as he settles into ministry and for the congregations as they continue to reach out with the Good News.
Sun 13 A Morning Prayer. “You are ushering in another day, untouched and freshly new. So we come to ask You Lord if You will renew us too.  Forgive the many errors that we made yesterday and let us try again dear Lord, to walk closer in Your way. Father we are well aware we cannot make it on our own, so take our hand and hold it tight, for we cannot walk alone. Thank You Lord.” This is the day the You have made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! “Almighty God, Creator and Possessor of Heaven and Earth, may You be pleased to accept the prayers and praise we bring today. May Your Holy Spirit transform us into the people You would have us be” Amen.
