“If my people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray” (1 Chron 7:14)
Pray for: Teresa May and the government in light of the recent votes;
All MPs to work together for the good of each person in the nation; A spirit of compromise;
A seeking of Gods wisdom (for the first time, by some); God’s people, His church, to unite in prayer; Forgiveness for this nation pushing God out of everyday life

22 Ministerial Team
Pray: each day for Mairisine, David, Meriel and Jo, that they know the Holy Spirit’s will and prompting for each task, visit, study and meeting
For encouragement and spiritual growth through the Community Bible Experience
Wed
23 Congregation
Pray: God’s comfort for all who are grieving the recent loss of a loved one; and those who still grieve and struggle after many years.
Pray Jesus ministers to the sick, bringing healing and peace.
Give thanks for each person involved in the Community Bible Experience.
Pray the Holy Spirit will lead, reveal and teach in the discussion groups.

Pray for Jo leading Big Tree House on Sunday mornings and the Youth small groups on Sunday nights.
Pray each teacher will share their faith and trust and love for the amazing God they serve.
Pray for each child and young person to understand the ‘good news’ of Jesus and come to a saving faith in Him

25 PCI Missionaries
Nepal – Peter &Valerie Lockwood
Pray urgently for the government department to renew some UMN staff visas including Peter and Valerie’s. Conor sitting important school exams and Valerie as she leads the women’s bible study.
Zambia – Diane Cusick
Give thanks for Diane’s safe return to Lusaka following Home Assignment. Pray she knows God’s Vision for this next season of service.
Pray the Holy Spirit has prompted or confirmed to someone God’s call to overseas mission

Pray for Our Connected Church partners- Emmanuel Hospital Ass and Saahara.
Give thanks that the programmes in place which teach skills to the young boys and girls, have more villages celebrating being free from ‘trafficking’.
Pray for God’s prompting in how you can respond to do ’the one thing’ for our Connected Church Tearfund Link.

BIBLE EXPERIENCE

For the next 7 weeks we are going on a journey through the whole New Testament together.

So far nearly 250 people have started reading, it’s not too late to join in.

PRAYER MINISTRY TRAINING in the Meeting Place from 7.30pm. This is a compulsory evening for anyone involved in this ministry through First Bangor. If you are unable to make it please inform Meriel.

ABAANA NEW LIFE CHOIR will be visiting Movilla Presbyterian Church on Saturday 2 February at 7pm to share what God is doing in Uganda through song and dance.

PATHFINDERS – “Exploring More Together”
Pathfinders would like to invite all Men from our Church Family & their Friends to share with us in a tour of the Ulster Rugby Kingspan Stadium Grounds & Nevin Spence Centre, on Friday 8th February 2019. Further details are included in the sign-up sheet on the Hub coffee bar counter. If you are interested in attending, please add your name to this sheet.
